I’ve been thinking about this for a little while because it has been puzzling me.
I’ve been thinking about how the Dallas Cowboys, “America’s Team”, “The Star” could go from such unmatched success to such a decline. I’ve heard every excuse imaginable from the media, fans, the team itself, other players, etc., but I decided (because I’ve been that drained from standardized testing study) to spend some of my free time trying to solve one of professional sports most intriguing mysteries.
What is the problem in Dallas? Continue reading “National Football League 2012: The Dallas Cowboys Problem Isn’t Jerry Jones, Its Their Past”

Well the writers let their voices be heard regarding their choice for Rookie of the Year in the American and National League this 2012 Major League Baseball season.
In the National League they got it wrong. Continue reading “Major League Baseball Off-Season 2012: Arizona Diamondbacks Wade Miley Should Win The Rookie Of The Year Award, Not Nationals Bryce Harper (Updated)”

I know what A.J. Green meant, and I can assure you it was nothing more than a passing comment.
But when New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle decided to up the ante with his response to Green’s assessment that the Giants have “a lot of holes” in their defense he opened a can of worms he may well regret this Sunday when the two teams meet in Cincinnati. This morning I was watching ESPN’s Sportscenter to come down from the political haze that blanketed the country. Just when I thought the debating was over Adam Schefter said something that immediately made me reach for the old laptop:
“While Doug Martin has been sensational….Offensive Rookie Of The Year has to go to Andrew Luck. He’s been everything we expected from the number one draft pick.”
Ummm, excuse me? Continue reading “National Football League 2012: Doug Martin Or Andrew Luck For Offensive Rookie Of The Year? Lets Talk About It”
I had all the excitement in the world this weekend.
I took my engagement photos in Lexington, Virginia with my beautiful fiancée, my beloved University of Georgia Bulldogs kicked Ole Miss around to the tune of 37-10 (ONE step closer to back-to-back SEC East titles and causing another offseason of THIS from Steve Spurrier) and things were looking great for the Falcons improving to 8-0 Sunday night against the Cowboys.
I mean, things were PERFECT.
Then it happened. I got this funny feeling in my stomach around Thursday or Friday when I looked at the match-ups for fantasy football. I didn’t like how things were shaping up. Continue reading “NFL Fantasy Football 2012: How Doug Martin Of The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Became THAT Guy”
I’m going to go ahead and throw it out there:
No matter how badly you want to fight it, and don’t agree with it, and downright refuse to acknowledge it, two of the top-5 teams in the country were on display Saturday night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Continue reading “Alabama Crimson Tide Prove They’re Number One, Oregon Ducks Lack Defense”
Co-host Baden Bagley and I chop it up about the start of the NBA’s regular season. We discuss the tragic events in New York and how sports role within it may play. We also talk about the Heat/Celtics rivalry and how the “Jerk” act is wearing a little thin. (773) 897-6129 is the number to call in and join the conversation.
