Fantasy Football 2015: Thursday Night Football Audibles For Browns Vs. Bengals

Gio Bernard (439 RuYards, 141 ReYards, 2 touchdowns) looks like a strong play tonight against a Cleveland Browns team that has been generous to the position all season.

Can I be the one to tell Browns fans that tonight isn’t going to be their night?

Thursday Night Football has offered up some great games for us this 2015 season but, unfortunately, this isn’t going to be one of those games.

Football players have a lot of pride, I know, but facts are facts: Cincinnati is 7-0 and playing tonight’s game on their home field; where they’ve only lost twice in the last year. In fact…wait a minute…is that right? One of those losses came November 6th of last year against…

The Cleveland Browns.

Yeah but that means nothing, right? These Bengals have Dalton, Bernard, Hill, Green, and Eifert. The Browns have nothing more than what’s left of “Johnny Football.” There’s no way history repeats itself in Cincinnati. No way.

No. Way. Right?

Cincinnati Bengals

Gio Bernard/Jeremy Hill, RB

Big debate right now is whether to start Bernard or Hill. My main advice with these two is that both have value tonight. Bernard is a better play if you’re in a PPR league, but has produced in standard settings as well. He’s ranked 14 spots ahead of Hill so far in 2015 but Hill has seen quite a bit of goal line work. Final verdict: If you have one or both, you can’t go wrong with one or the other.

A.J. Green, WR

No Joe Haden or Donte Whitner makes A.J. Green a fantasy superstar tonight.

Andy Dalton, QB

He’s got Green, an offensive line, and two solid running backs. This year better be different.

Cleveland Browns

Johnny Manziel, QB

No. Just stop it.

Gary Barnidge, TE

Probably the only Brown with value tonight considering the other receiving options. Barnidge gets the start for me because the Bengals, if they’re smart, will take away Manziel’s deep threat Travis Benjamin. I don’t expect the run game to get much accomplished tonight so, almost by default, that leaves Barnidge.

Considering it’s Thursday, lets #tbt to better times for Johnny Manziel:
