The 2016 NFL season has begun and, despite me doing an awesome podcast (which you should all subscribe to and review here), I will in fact be doing fantasy football writing this year.

I know, you’re welcome. Continue reading “Fantasy Football 2016: Stop Overvaluing Rookies and Some Preseason Week 1 Thoughts”

Ep. 13: Blair Walsh, Minnesota Vikings Kicker

When talking to Minnesota Vikings Kicker Blair Walsh you get the sense of a man that is focused on what’s ahead. He’s moved past last season, and is primed for a big season for a Vikings team with high expectations. In other words, he’s got the right mindset to play what can sometimes be a very unforgiving position. Most of that is because he knows what’s important, which is a testament to his strong family and support system. Blair, statistically, is a top-5 Kicker in the National Football League since he debuted in 2012. At age 22, he was named 1st Team All-Pro in the NFL (the only rookie on the team that year) and set numerous Viking and NFL records along the way. So you’re nervous about Aaron Rodgers.

I figured I would just jump right to it; Rodgers hasn’t been great since the Packers came off their Bye week. But he hasn’t been terrible, and he isn’t the one you should worry about.  Continue reading “Fantasy Football 2015: Thursday Night Football Audible For Packers Vs. Lions”

Fantasy Football 2015: Week 13 Waiver Wire Targets, And Playoffs?

The Seahawks’ Doug Baldwin could be in line for a nice string of matchups the next four weeks. Just in time to carry you into the playoffs and beyond.

Ladies and gentleman, we’ve come to week 13.

If your commissioner knows what they’re doing (and I assume they all do) then this week should wrap up the regular season for your fantasy leagues. Now is the time when not just money, bragging rights, and personal dignity is on the line; but the opportunity to achieve all of those things is on the line.  Continue reading “Fantasy Football 2015: Week 13 Waiver Wire Targets, And Playoffs?”

You know what’s great about fantasy football? The fact that it gives you a reason to be engaged in even the least meaningful NFL games of the week.  Continue reading “Fantasy Football 2015: Players We’re Thankful For, Week 12 Waiver Targets”

Fantasy Football 2015: Thursday Night Football Audibles For Titans Vs. Jaguars

My curiosity is piqued by one thing regarding tonight’s game.

How many will watch it?  Continue reading “Fantasy Football 2015: Thursday Night Football Audibles For Titans Vs. Jaguars”

Fantasy Football 2015: Week 11 Waiver Targets, And A Pep Talk For All

imageLast night when I sat down to write this my wife walked by and asked ‘when is that over?’ That being the fantasy football season, of course. That question pretty much set the tone for what you’re (hopefully) going to read next. Continue reading “Fantasy Football 2015: Week 11 Waiver Targets, And A Pep Talk For All”

Fantasy Football 2015: Thursday Night Football Audibles For Bills Vs. Jets

I like Rex Ryan.

Seriously, I like everything about him. He tells it like it is, he’s good at his job, and he knows how to bring a group together.

Think about his tenure as head coach of the New York Jets and what he was able to accomplish. Continue reading “Fantasy Football 2015: Thursday Night Football Audibles For Bills Vs. Jets”
