Fantasy Football 2015: Week 13 Waiver Wire Targets, And Playoffs?

DougBaldwin
The Seahawks’ Doug Baldwin could be in line for a nice string of matchups the next four weeks. Just in time to carry you into the playoffs and beyond.

Ladies and gentleman, we’ve come to week 13.

If your commissioner knows what they’re doing (and I assume they all do) then this week should wrap up the regular season for your fantasy leagues. Now is the time when not just money, bragging rights, and personal dignity is on the line; but the opportunity to achieve all of those things is on the line.  Continue reading “Fantasy Football 2015: Week 13 Waiver Wire Targets, And Playoffs?”

Fantasy Football 2015: Thursday Night Football Audibles For Falcons Vs. Saints

The Falcons seemed to have figured out the Drew Brees factor (0-2, 646 yards, 2 touchdowns, 3 INT's in 2014). Can he turn it around for fantasy owners against an improved Falcons defense? (Photo: The Times-Picayune)
The Falcons seemed to have figured out the Drew Brees problem (0-2, 646 yards, 2 touchdowns, 3 INT’s in 2014) that troubled them for so long. Can Brees be trusted to turn it around for fantasy owners against an improved Falcons defense tonight in New Orleans? (Photo: The Times-Picayune)

It’s funny how fortunes have changed in the span of 10 months for the Falcons.  Continue reading “Fantasy Football 2015: Thursday Night Football Audibles For Falcons Vs. Saints”

Fantasy Football 2015: Week 3 Waiver Targets

David Johnson averaged 8.4 yards per carry on five carries Sunday (42 yards) and scored a touchdown. Even though Arians is cautious with rookie running backs, I would add him this week if available. (Photo By: Mark J. Rebilas/USA TODAY Sports)

Injuries are starting to mount for quite a few fantasy stars (and emerging options as well).

Just when Tevin Coleman started rolling a rib injury may force him to miss multiple weeks. Drew Brees and Tony Romo both went down with injuries that will cause them to miss multiple weeks. Continue reading “Fantasy Football 2015: Week 3 Waiver Targets”

2015 NFL Preview: NFC Division Predictions

I like Seattle to win the NFC West again in 2015 despite a holdout from Kam Chancellor. But a division rival might have the last laugh in playoffs. (AP Photo/John Froschauer)

Division and playoff predictions are tricky in the NFL.

Every week a team can look like a “team to beat” or the worst team you’ve ever seen. With the NFL only playing 16 games, one could put themselves in a situation to be roundly criticized for picking the wrong team without the benefit of hindsight.  Continue reading “2015 NFL Preview: NFC Division Predictions”

We all hope to draft them.

You know who I’m talking about. We want those players who played at such a high level late in the season that they get you so stoked about the next you can barely control your excitement. A breakout player in fantasy football isn’t just a player; he’s a bragging right. An “I told you so” that buys you one to two years of respect, more if you do it consistently. Fantasy Football 2015: Fantasy Football “Bargain” Players (A.K.A. The Deep Sleepers) That Could Hit It Big In ’15

Eddie Royal caught 62 passes for 778 yards and 7 touchdowns for the Chargers in 2014. This season he'll play in the slot with the Chicago Bears. (Associated Press)

You will no doubt rely on them at least once this season. Those bargain players that get you by on a bye week or through a tough stretch of injuries or suspensions. They’re always on the waiver wire, a Branden Oliver or Chris Sims.  Continue reading “Fantasy Football 2015: Fantasy Football “Bargain” Players (A.K.A. 2015 NFL Draft is in the books.

The first thing I am going to let you know is I don’t do “Draft Grades.” I’m not a teacher, and this was not a test. With that, what you will find here is my opinion/analysis of what teams I thought did the best addressing their needs and who didn’t.

That’s it. Pretty simple.

Onward then… Continue reading “2015 NFL Draft: The Picks And Classes I Liked”

Fantasy Football 2014: Top-10 D/ST Units To Target For Fantasy Football

It was going to be hard enough for the 49ers D/ST to be a top-5 unit again in 2014 without Navarro Bowman. Now that Aldon Smith has been suspended for nine games they'll be hard-pressed to crack the top-10 (Brian Bahr/Getty Images North America)
