Alright so let’s face it, week 1 for a few of you wasn’t pretty. Especially if you pinned your hopes on first round picks like C.J. Anderson, Peyton Manning, Odell Beckham Jr., and Drew Brees.

This is the year the AFC gets a little crazy.
There isn’t a dominant team despite what fans want to believe. There are teams that are beginning to see a shift in their fortunes. Most of those teams play in the AFC East, which is where the root of the craziness could occur this season. Continue reading “2015 NFL Preview: AFC Divisional Predictions”→

Wanna know how to be bold in fantasy football? Pick a name or names you really like for the season and predict that player to reach heights only you believe imaginable. Boldly predict that their success isn’t solely predicated on another man’s failure, but on talent that can’t be suppressed by veterans or newcomers. Even at 39 the Denver Broncos 2015 playoff (and Super Bowl) hopes depend on the elite play of Peyton Manning. I’m not so sure that’s a good thing. (Photo: Aaron Ontiveroz/The Denver Post)
Leading up to the start of the 2015 NFL season I will be previewing last year’s playoff teams and their chances for making it back to the postseason
2014 Overview:
Record: 12-4 (1st, AFC West)
Key Additions: Owen Daniel (Free Agency from Baltimore), Shane Ray (23rd overall pick, 2015 NFL Draft)
Eddie Royal caught 62 passes for 778 yards and 7 touchdowns for the Chargers in 2014. This season he’ll play in the slot with the Chicago Bears. (Associated Press)
Isaiah Crowell had an even more effective 2014 than his numbers (607 yards, 8 TD, 4.1 YPC) indicated and he’s in line to be the feature back in Cleveland.
Peyton Manning has averaged 613 pass attempts per season since he signed with the Broncos after the 2011 season. Will a dramatic shift in offensive philosophy under new head coach Gary Kubiak cause a conflict?

Let me start by telling you all that I went a clean 4-0 last week in fantasy football. I know, hold your applause.
It was going to be hard enough for the 49ers D/ST to be a top-5 unit again in 2014 without Navarro Bowman. Now that Aldon Smith has been suspended for the first nine games this season they’ll be hard-pressed to crack the top-10 (Photo Credit: Brian Bahr/Getty Images North America)
Jekyll and Hyde?: Stafford’s first-half numbers (2,617 yards, 16 TD’s, 6 INT’s and a 94.7 rating) didn’t resemble anything he did in the second-half ( 2,033 yards, 13 TD’s, 13 INT’s and a 72.1 rating)
The quarterback position is the most important position in fantasy football.
Go ahead and disagree. I say that without a hint of reservation or sarcasm. It doesn’t make sense to place the hopes of a well drafted team in the hands of someone who isn’t going to consistently give you the production you need from, what should be, the steadiest spot on your roster.
